yes Alfred with chrome cover removed u dont have to remove tank to change plug or adjust decompression cable the front bolt can not be rmoved though so i put rubber hose on it with flat washer and put nut back on it to keep from rattling.my preference i'd rather be able to change plug on the road if i had to,doesnt look bad either. btw,you also do not have to remove carb to remove white spacer,very simple to do.as for battery ,It is only longer than original more cca's,cut top left corner out on cover about 3/4 square to expose positive terminal used 1/4'x 2''peice of vacuum hose to space top of batt and cover,slide cover back in place secure with 6''bungee cord if you didnt look closely you wouldnt even notice.KIS...Giro..kis=Keepin It Simple
